About Fraser Sea Cadets
RCSCC FRASER has been dedicated to the training of youth in the Delta, Burnaby & New Westminster areas since 1942. Our training location is the Annacis Island Training Quarters at 555 Derwent Way, Delta. FRASER parades on Thursday nights from 6:30pm to 9:15pm during school months, with several weekend activities scheduled during the training year. There are no registration fees or dues to join the Cadet Program and all are welcome. We encourage you to contact us if you have any questions, comments or would like to join the corps!
70th Annual Ceremonial Review and Open House
RCSCC Fraser will celebrate its 70th Annual Ceremonial Review on Sunday, June 10th. Guests are asked to be seated by 12:45pm as the parade will begin at 1:00pm.
The Annual Ceremonial Review gives the cadets the opportunity to show their corps pride as they are inspected by the Reviewing Officer, as well as showcase what they have learned throughout the year via static and dynamic displays. This year's displays will include our Band, Drill Team and Navigation aboard the MV Harvey W. The Harvey is a vessel owned by Forrest Marine and access to this fantastic training tool allows our cadets to practice navigation skills and have an engaging on the water experience.
Moving to Wednesday Nights
RCSCC Fraser is exploring the posibility of moving to Wednesday Nights for regular parade. Please click here for more information and to give your feedback on this change. Parents and cadets are requested to fill out the survey included at the link.
Tagging
Cadets will be tagging in New Westminster this weekend. As a reminder, no cadets will be at Walmart. Everyone was reassigned to another location. Emails were sent out listing where cadets should be. Please contact the Executive Officer at the.fraser.telegraph@gmail.com if you did not receive this email.
Operation Killer Whale
25 Cadets of RCSCC Fraser travelled to Victoria, BC last weekend for an adventure in our provincial capital city. An early start in Tsawwassen gave us most of the day to explore the Coast Guard's Marine Communications and Traffic Service (MCTS), see Tornado Alley at the IMAX and have an educational tour of the Legislative Assembly buildings downtown Victoria.

School Strike Work Party
With Fraser cadets having a few unexpected days off this week due to the teacher strike, we would like to invite our cadets to join us on Wednesday, March 7 from 0900 to 1500 to help out maintaining our facility. This time slot is the usual time that the Navy League Branch volunteers are down building and upgrading the buildings and grounds. They could use our help and if you're available, we would love to see you.
Please click this link and let us know if you're coming!
Cypress Mountain Snow Tubing
Thanks to our fantastic parent volunteer drivers, 56 Cadets, Parents and Friends hit the slopes for an afternoon of fun for a cause at Cypress Mountain Tube Park today. Cypress staff took great care of our group, spinning solo tubers or groups of cadets down the bumpy track. The event was the kickoff to our fundraising effort for the New Zealand Exchange. We are proud to announce that over $400 has been added to the fund and is a successful beginning to our $85,000 goal. One exciting event down, and many more to come!
